A Year in Review
The AGM is always a moment to pause and look back, not just at what PESA has achieved, but at the collective effort of members, chapters, presenters and partners across Australia and beyond who continue to champion wellbeing education. This year's meeting was no exception, bringing together our community to reflect on progress and look ahead to what's next.
As the wellbeing education landscape continues to grow, PESA remains committed to championing evidence-informed practice and helping schools find their way to quality resources and support.
- Leonie Abbott, PESA Chair
If you'd like the full detail, the minutes of the meeting are available to read, along with the Chair's report. A recording of the meeting is also available for anyone who couldn't attend live or wants to revisit the discussion.
A New Constitution
One of the key items of business at this year's AGM was a special resolution to adopt a new constitution for PESA. We're pleased to share that the resolution was passed, and the new constitution is now in effect. Thank you to Minter Ellison, our pro-bono lawyers for their expertise and assistance to make this happen.
This update reflects PESA's ongoing commitment to good governance as our organisation continues to grow, ensuring our structures keep pace with the needs of our expanding membership. The new constitution is available to view on our website for anyone wanting to read it in full.
Thank You
None of this is possible without our members. Whether you've been part of PESA for years or have recently joined the community, your commitment to wellbeing education is what drives everything we do. Thank you for showing up, for asking questions, for sharing ideas, and for being part of a community dedicated to making wellbeing a genuine priority in schools.
We look forward to continuing this work together in the year ahead.
If you have any questions about the AGM, the new constitution, or the Chair's report, please don't hesitate to get in touch with PESA CEO, Lisa Davias.
