This download demonstrates how schools can collect, present, and thematically analyse staff wellbeing feedback to inform meaningful action.
It uses two simple reflective prompts:
"Thank you for…"
"What about…"
to capture what staff appreciate about their workplace and what they would like to see improved.
Each set of verbatim responses is paired with a thematic analysis identifying key wellbeing drivers, including workload and time management, supportive leadership, collegiality, social connection, teacher agency and voice, and consistency of expectations.
It includes a brief "Why it matters" reflections linking each theme to broader outcomes such as morale, trust, belonging, and burnout prevention.
The resource serves as a practical template for school leaders seeking to gather authentic staff voice, surface actionable insights, and embed a co-created approach to wellbeing.
