The Mindfulness in Schools Project is a UK-based charity dedicated to bringing evidence-informed mindfulness to young people and the adults who care for them. Its free resources page offers a generous collection of downloadable materials for schools at any stage of their mindfulness journey including:
-
a printable leaflet explaining the benefits of mindfulness
-
ready-to-use practices to try with students
-
classroom posters
-
a research evidence summary, and;
-
engaging animations of popular practices from their own mindfulness curriculum (UK).
Schools can also request free sample lessons from MiSP's age-specific curricula, spanning early learners (dots, ages 3–6) through to secondary students (.b, ages 11–18), and join free iinformation webinars and community sits.
A practical starting point for introducing mindfulness to staff, students, leadership and the wider school community.
