Belonging in Higher Education: A Twenty-Year Systematic Review
A recently published systematic review, "Belonging in Higher Education," underscores that a sense of belonging is a critical factor in student success, moving far beyond its status as a mere buzzword in educational discourse. The review, authored by Kelly-Ann Allen, Chris Slaten, and colleagues, analyzes two decades of literature to provide educators with a multi-dimensional definition of belonging and actionable strategies to improve student outcomes.
